Protecting user data and ownership in helicone

Hello. I am an existing user of Helicone, and I have a quick question. The data that flows through helicone apparently contains sensitive data from our users. How is our user data protected? How does the ownership of that data work and does Helicone look at the data or use the data in any way?

Hi there!

Thanks @zpayab for following up. We were able to get more clarification on our privacy policy and terms regarding this.

Helicone does stores your data security. We follow the top security practices, and we are even SOC-2 compliant. Our data is stored unencrypted at rest, however your data is only accessible to you. All of your data is anonymized within our logs and any logs that contain any request or response body will only be viewed by our engineers during debugging and not saved.

We will never use your data to train AI models and we will never look or use the contents of your data without your permission.

I hope this clarifies things, we are going to make this more clear within our terms moving forward.
hey @Justin thanks for the clarification. its such a relief. 🫡
